David Gale has a diverse work experience in the medical device industry. David currently works at CMR Surgical, where they started in December 2019 as the Head of Instruments and Accessories before being promoted to the position of Instrument Strategic Lead in August 2021. Prior to CMR Surgical, David worked as a Freelance Medical Device Development Consultant for a short period. David also held various positions at Sphere Medical, starting as a Design Engineer in January 2015 and eventually becoming the Vice President of Operations and R&D in July 2019. Before that, they worked at Alere Inc. as an R&D Project Manager from September 2011 to December 2014. In addition, David has held positions at Cambridge Consultants as a Principal Engineer from September 2008 to September 2011, at Sagentia as a Senior Consultant from January 2001 to August 2008, and at Gyrus Medical as a Design Engineer from July 1997 to December 2000.

David Gale received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, where they studied from 1993 to 1996.
