Derek Sammann is a Senior Managing Director at CME Group, responsible for leading and developing the company's global Energy, Metals, Agricultural, and Options businesses. Derek also holds various committee member and advisory roles in organizations such as the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Dubai Mercantile Exchange, Shanghai Gold Exchange, and others. Prior to their current position, Derek served as Managing Director at Crédit Agricole CIB and Vice President at Cooper, Neff & Associates. Derek holds a BA in Economics & Political Science from Northwestern University, an MBA Candidate in Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and has completed an Agribusiness Seminar at Harvard Business School.
