Joachim Johansen is an accomplished Senior Scientist at Clinical Microbiomics, specializing in microbiome technology, phages, and machine learning since December 2022. With a strong background in bioinformatics and deep learning, Joachim has held notable positions including Visiting Researcher at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and PhD Student at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research, University of Copenhagen, where the focus was on phage genomics and biological community structures. Previous roles include Bioinformatics Specialist and Bioinformatician at Clinical Microbiomics, as well as managing director at Biotech Academy, demonstrating leadership in project development and fundraising. Joachim holds a PhD in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics from the University of Copenhagen and an MSc. Eng. in Bioinformatics from DTU.
