Farzad Tasbihgoo currently serves as President of the CMAA of Southern California since October 2023 and holds the position of Principal Engineer at ZT Consulting Group, Inc. since December 2013, where the focus is on providing consulting services to public transportation agencies. Previous experience includes serving as District Structural Materials Representative at Alta Vista Solutions, Project Engineer at Englekirk Partners Consulting Structural Engineers, and Englekirk and Sabol Consulting Structural Engineers, as well as Assistant Professor at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Farzad Tasbihgoo began a career as Developer Engineer at Schaeffer Automated Systems, specializing in software development for finite element methods. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Structural Engineering and two Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering - Dynamics and Structural Engineering from the University of Southern California, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology.
