Robert Gibson currently serves as the National Head of Strategic Finance at Virgin Money, a role assumed in June 2022, overseeing key areas such as Corporate and Commercial Banking, Acquisition Finance, and Growth Finance. Prior to this position, Robert held various leadership roles at CYBG PLC, including Head of Strategic Finance and UK Head of Regional Banking, where responsibilities encompassed managing relationship banking teams and serving SME and Corporate clients across the UK. Robert's background also includes leading teams in Asset Finance and Financial Risk Solutions, as well as managing operations for business and private banking in the West of Scotland.
