Ruhan van der Westhuizen, a certified supply chain professional (CSCP), has extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management, primarily with Clover S.A. Proprietary Limited since February 2015. Currently serving as Manager of Production Logistics, Ruhan oversees the management of inbound, intermediate, and outbound warehouses to ensure market supply and full utilization of assets. Previous roles include Planner for Supply Channel, where Ruhan planned production schedules and ensured communication regarding staffing shifts based on demand trends, and Supply Chain Planner, focused on maintaining a constant supply of products to various warehouses. Ruhan's professional journey began at Shoprite as a Planning Coordinator and DC Trainee Manager. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Logistics from the University of Pretoria, a Senior Management Development Programme from Stellenbosch Business School, and a short course in Finance for Non-Financial Managers from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town.
