Stephen Trinh

Principal Engineer Marine Structures at Clough

Stephen Trinh has extensive experience in the marine engineering and construction industry. Stephen currently holds the position of Principal Engineer Marine Structures at Clough since 2024. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineering Manager at SMC Marine in 2023. From 2018 to 2023, they served as a Senior Project Engineer and Lead Civil Structural Marine Engineer at Clough. Before that, they were a Senior Maritime Engineer at WALLBRIDGE GILBERT AZTEC in 2017 and a Senior Civil/Maritime Engineer at Broadspectrum from 2016 to 2017. Stephen also gained valuable experience as a Deputy Engineering Manager and Senior Project Engineer at BAM Clough JV from 2012 to 2016, where they were involved in significant oil & gas marine projects. Stephen worked as a Senior Marine Project Engineer at FAST JV from 2009 to 2012, a Project Engineer at Calibre Global from 2008 to 2009, and a Maritime Engineer at Sinclair Knight Merz from 2005 to 2008. Stephen's career started as a Maritime Engineer at Sinclair Knight Merz from 2001 to 2004.

Stephen Trinh attended The University of Western Australia from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE Hons) degree in Civil Engineering and also a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce with a focus on General Management. Stephen has also obtained the certification of Chartered Professional Engineer from Engineers Australia.
