Dawn Morley is a Visiting Fellow at Bournemouth University since February 2020 and continues to supervise PhD students, specializing in grounded theory methodology and apprenticeships. Previously, Dawn served as Principal Academic in Adult Nursing and academic lead for the Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship before retiring from that role. Dawn has held various academic positions, including External Examiner for the Trainee Nursing Associate Programme at the University of Chester and Post Doctorate Researcher at Solent University, where research was focused on work-based learning and the publication of an open access book on applied pedagogies. Dawn's extensive career includes significant roles at Bournemouth University, the University of Surrey, The Open University, and Peter Symonds College, emphasizing teaching, learning, and curriculum development in higher education. Dawn holds a Doctor in Professional Practice from Bournemouth University, an MSc in Sociology and Social Policy from the University of Southampton, and a Postgraduate Certificate in the Education of Adults from the University of Surrey.
