Micha Roon is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Head of Engineering at The Hashgraph Association, where innovation projects are supported through training and mentorship. Since founding managination in 2005, Micha has focused on enhancing the software development process. Previously, Micha held significant roles such as Head of Web3 Engineering at NOUMENA DIGITAL AG, Chief Technology Officer at bonq, and Chief Innovation Officer at Energy Web. Micha contributed to the decentralized energy infrastructure and served on the technical board of Share&Charge. Additionally, advisory roles were undertaken at IIB Council and PioneerVentures.io, alongside experience as a Sr. Blockchain Developer at Sweetbridge and a Blockchain Advisor at SwissBorg. Micha holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Lausanne and further education in fintech and project management.
