Will Hoult has extensive work experience in engineering and technology-related roles. Will is currently working as a Principal Engineer at CloudNC since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at McLaren Applied Technologies from January 2018 to May 2021 as a Principal Simulation Engineer. In this role, they were involved in various projects, including the development of scalable model execution services and data processing for wearable sensor clinical trials. From July 2011 to December 2017, Will worked at McLaren Automotive Ltd. as a Principal Engineer, where they were responsible for the identification, development, and delivery of chassis and control system technologies. Will played a key role in improving simulator infrastructure and evaluating new concepts for novel technologies. Will also worked as a Project Engineer at McLaren Automotive Ltd. from October 2009 to July 2011, focusing on the design and delivery of adaptive hydropneumatic suspension systems for McLaren's P1 road car. Prior to their time at McLaren, Will served as a Teaching Assistant and College Supervisor at the University of Cambridge from October 2006 to July 2009. In this role, they were responsible for developing and running mechanical engineering laboratory sessions and supervising students in various projects. Will Hoult attended the University of Cambridge from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a MEng degree in Engineering. Will then continued their education at the same institution from 2005 to 2008, earning a PhD in Engineering.
