Matt Lovell has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the technology industry. Matt is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of CloudGuard AI since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Non Executive Director at BCN Group Ltd starting from November 2018.
From 2015 to 2022, Matt held multiple roles at Centiq, including CEO and CTO. Centiq specializes in cloud infrastructure and SAP HANA platforms, offering expertise, insights, and managed services to optimize and simplify platforms for customers.
Before their time at Centiq, Matt worked as the CTO at Pulsant Limited from March 2012 to September 2017. In this role, they focused on IT strategy development, data center design and optimization, and technology strategy leadership for IT infrastructure organizations.
Between 2011 and 2012, Matt served as the CTO at Lumison. Prior to that, they worked as the CTO at Computacenter UK Ltd from 2007 to 2011 and as the CEO of Smarterideas from 1999 to 2011. Smarterideas provided hosting and IT services to small and mid-market organizations, and Matt played a key role in optimizing IT services, implementing solutions, and optimizing business processes.
Earlier in their career, Matt worked as the CTO at Digica from 2003 to 2007 and as the CTO at Aseriti from 2002 to 2004.
Matt Lovell completed their education in a chronological order. Matt first attended the University of Nottingham from 1990 to 1994, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. Following this, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Studies from Nottingham Trent University from 1994 to 1996. Finally, they went on to further enhance their academic qualifications by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Information Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) between 2001 and 2006.
