Sami Soveri has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Sami is currently working at Cloud2 Oy as a Senior Cloud Operations Specialist. Prior to that, they worked at Nordcloud, starting in 2017, where they held multiple roles. Sami was a Cloud Architect (AWS) - Network & Security, managing various customer projects and utilizing AWS services. Sami also worked as a Cloud Engineer (AWS), onboarding client AWS environments to Nordcloud's Managed Services.

Before joining Nordcloud, Sami worked at Relacom from 2009 to 2017 as an IT Specialist. Their responsibilities included workstation and peripheral device installations, software and hardware troubleshooting, and resolving local network issues.

From 2007 to 2009, they worked at Capgemini as a Local Support and Helpdesk Specialist. Their tasks involved workstation and software installations, solving local network issues, and providing helpdesk support for end users.

Sami's career began at Fujitsu Oy in 2006, where they worked as a Helpdesk Specialist, providing end user support for workstation and software issues.

Prior to that, they worked at Mr Koodata Oy from 2003 to 2006 as an IT Support Specialist, focused on resolving various issues at customer premises, Windows operating system installations and updates, and network support.

Sami started their professional journey at Oy G.W. Sohlberg Ab in 1999 as an IT Support and Accounting and Finance Department Assistant. Their responsibilities included installations, issue resolution for Windows operating systems and application programs, personnel training on MS-Office products, and user support.

Throughout their career, Sami has gained expertise in cloud operations, AWS architecture, network and security, and IT support.

From 2015 to 2016, Sami attended Metropolia Open University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, Finland. Sami obtained a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) degree during this period, although the field of study is not specified.

Between 1997 and 2000, Sami attended Malmi College of Business in Helsinki, Finland. Sami completed a Vocational Qualification in Business Administration, with a focus on business economics and orientation in information technology.

From 1992 to 1995, Sami attended Itäkeskus Upper Secondary School in Helsinki, Finland and graduated with a secondary school diploma.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Sami has obtained various certifications. In March 2016, they received the certifications for "70-410 Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012," "70-411 Administering Windows Server 2012," and "70-412 Configuring Advanced Windows Server 2012 Services" from Microsoft. In February 2018, they obtained the "AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA)" certification, and in March 2018, they earned the "AWS Certified Developer - Associate (DVA)" certification, both from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Finally, in April 2018, Sami obtained the "AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate (SOA)" certification, also from AWS.
