Like all Goodies, Susan has a strong desire to contribute to the world in a positive way. She started her career doing direct practice social work in the Bay Area, then went to Columbia University for a Master’s in Social Enterprise Administration. Susan’s analytical nature lead her to a focus on operations and technology in the nonprofit sector. In 2007, she lead a Salesforce implementation at Room to Read and experienced its powerful impact on operational efficiency, employee productivity and motivation, and dramatic improvement in overall service delivery. She was hooked. Since that time, she has continued to focus on how nonprofits can leverage technology, and Salesforce in particular, for operational excellence.
Susan earned the Salesforce Administrator certification in 2011 and Scrum Master certification in 2019.
In her personal life, Susan enjoys being outside, hiking, going to the beach, reading, traveling, and working toward being zero waste.
