Birgit King has worked in a variety of roles since 1988. Birgit began their career at Young & Rubicam as a Public Relations Associate, where they handled standard media inquiries, researched and monitored Client's business and industry to maintain a current knowledge base, and assisted in the research and preparation for new business pitches. In 1990, they moved to Grant-Durban, Inc. as an Office Manager and Executive Secretary to the President/CEO, where they were responsible for two secretaries and all office administration. In 1996, they were hired by DaimlerChrysler Corp as a Special Projects Coordinator, where they designed an internal communication's system based on web technologies, and directed development in the Computer Center (TCC). Birgit also developed an award-winning QS9000 system for the Customer Advocate group based on Lotus Notes, and planned internal and external events for other groups within DaimlerChrysler to showcase new product launches. In 2005, they became the Director of Food & Beverage at the Hilton Garden Inn, where they managed a P/L of $500 K annually and grew revenue by 28% through marketing and product selection/presentation. In 2008, they became the Director of Sales at the Maron Hotel, where they performed quality assurance (QA) requirements for the department and developed and managed the sales budget. In 2009, they became the Owner of BirgitLu Photography and BirgitLu Productions, where they offered portrait and corporate photography. Finally, in 2014, they became the Co-Founder and CFO of Cloud Choice Technologies, Inc.
Birgit King attended Dutchess Community College from 2007 to 2009 where they obtained an AA in History. From 2000 to 2002, they attended Seminole State College of Florida and obtained an AA in English. Birgit also holds a BA in Business from Victor Wangfeldts in Gothenburg, Sweden.
