John Grainda is currently the Vice President of Sales at Closure Systems International (CSI). John has been with the company for 13 years, previously holding the positions of Commercial Director, Director of Global Marketing and Business Development, and Global Marketing Manager. In their current role, John is responsible for leading the sales team and developing commercial relationships in the US and Canada. John is also responsible for customer service, technical support, contract negotiations, customer strategy, and industry alliances.
During their time at CSI, John has been instrumental in driving revenue growth and profitability in the global carbonated soft drinks (CSD) market. John developed a global product segmentation marketing strategy that lowered the total cost of operations for customers across 5 CSI regional commercial and marketing teams. John also conceptualized and introduced the ScanCap® closure, the industry’s first interactive closure system designed to deliver POS interactivity directly with consumers.
Prior to joining CSI, John held various marketing and product management roles at companies such as PepsiCo and Coca-Cola. John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin.
John Grainda attended Penn State University and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Marketing / Marketing Management.
