Lindsey Crawford

Senior Vice President Client Services at Closing the Gap Healthcare

Lindsey Crawford has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Lindsey currently holds the position of Senior Vice President Client Services at Closing the Gap Healthcare since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Executive at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital from September 2017 to December 2021. Lindsey also worked as an independent consultant at Lindsey Crawford Consulting from November 2016 to September 2017.

Before these roles, Lindsey held significant positions at various healthcare organizations. At Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, they served as Vice President, Patient Programs and Regional Vice President, Cancer Care Ontario from August 2013 to September 2016. Lindsey was responsible for leading clinical programs such as Cardiac and Renal, Mental Health and Addictions, Maternal, Newborn and Child, Surgery, Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Program, and Pharmacy. Lindsey also played an essential role in developing advanced cardiac services, gynecology oncology, child and youth mental health services, comprehensive renal program, and regional palliative/end-of-life system.

Prior to their time at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Lindsey worked at The Scarborough Hospital. Lindsey'sroles included Vice President, Scarborough Cancer Program from June 2011 to October 2011, Vice President, Patient Services from 2008 to June 2011, Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Performance from 2007 to 2008, and Executive Director, Corporate Performance from 2004 to 2007. In these roles, they were responsible for various aspects such as leading clinical programs, human resources and organizational development, workplace safety, quality/performance, utilization, risk management, and ambulatory care.

Lindsey's earlier experience includes working at University Health Network as the Director, Professional Practice - Allied Health from 2000 to 2004, where they focused on developing and implementing a professional leadership model for nine Allied Health disciplines. Lindsey also held the position of Manager, Rehabilitation at York Finch General Hospital from 1993 to 1995.

Lindsey Crawford obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto from 1984 to 1987. Lindsey then pursued a Master of Health Sciences in Health Administration at the University of Toronto from 1991 to 1993. In 2010, they received a LEAN Certification in LEAN Management from the University of Michigan. Most recently, from 2018 to 2022, Lindsey completed their Doctorate of Science in Health Leadership and Rehabilitation at Queen's University.
