Sally Chu's work experience starts in 2009 as an Undergraduate Researcher and Work Study Student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Sally continued their research at the university as a Graduate Researcher from 2013 to 2014. During their time as a student, Sally also worked as an Events and Public Relations Intern at BeCause Water in 2013.
In 2012, Sally gained additional research experience as a Research Intern in the Integrated Biological Sciences Summer Research Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
In 2014, Sally worked as a Research Intern at the Plant Analysis Group at Agrivida, Inc. before transitioning to a role as a Strain Development Research Associate at Joule Unlimited Technologies, Inc.
From 2015 to 2016, Sally served as a Ruby on Rails Apprentice at Launch Academy, Inc.
Subsequently, Sally took on Software Engineering roles at drug development company DrugDev. Sally started as an Apprentice Software Developer in 2016, then progressed to Software Engineer and eventually Software Engineer II from 2018 to 2021. Finally, Sally joined Clora in 2018 and has held the positions of Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. Their current role at Clora began in June 2021.
Sally Chu received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Applied Molecular Biotechnology at the same university from 2013 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in HeartSaver CPR AED from R&W Training Associates in March 2013.
