Amanda Siegmann

Brand Designer at Clio

Amanda Siegmann has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in design and customer service. Amanda started their career at The Home Depot Canada, where they served as a Special Service/Customer Service Associate and later as a Cashier. In these roles, they handled special orders, completed customer returns, processed customer orders, and provided assistance to customers.

Amanda then worked as a Graphic Design Intern/Assistant Customer Sales Representative at NuTrends Signs and Printing, where they designed layouts for various marketing materials and assisted customers with their designs. Amanda also processed payments and invoices, sent email proofs, and contacted clients when their orders were ready.

Later, Amanda joined Toolbox Design as a Graphic Design Mentorship participant, where they developed branding for a travel concierge website and blog. Amanda collaborated with the team to create a comprehensive resource for Zihuatanejo visitors.

Amanda then worked as a Graphic Designer at EDG Experience Design Group Inc., specializing in creating experiential environments for visitor destinations, museums, and retail spaces. Amanda'sresponsibilities included experience master planning, exhibit design, story development, and wayfinding and signage.

Amanda also gained experience in the media industry while working at Vancouver Magazine as a Freelance Graphic Designer and Art Intern. In these roles, they created page layouts, conducted image research, prepared images for print and web, and completed illustrations.

Amanda further expanded their design skills at Canada Wide Media, where they held multiple positions, including Advertising and Graphic Designer and Graphic Designer and Advertising Support. In these roles, they designed advertisements for Vancouver and Western Living magazines, maintained collateral materials, and ensured advertisements were print-ready.

Currently, Amanda is employed at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology as a Brand Designer. Amanda also served as a Marketing Designer, supporting the marketing team in executing campaigns and projects. Amanda developed materials and graphics for various uses and formats, including the Clio Cloud Conference and Legal Trends Report.

Furthermore, Amanda has experience in customer service as a Guest Experience Team Member at YYoga. In this role, they provided excellent customer service, organized yoga passes, and performed general housekeeping duties.

Overall, Amanda Siegmann has gained a diverse set of skills and experiences in the areas of graphic design, advertising, branding, and customer service throughout their career.

Amanda Siegmann began their education journey in 2008 at Langara College, where they pursued a Diploma in Display+Design (now DesignFormation). Amanda completed this program in 2010. Subsequently, from 2012 to 2015, Amanda attended Capilano University, where they obtained a Diploma in Illustration/Design: Elements and Applications (IDEA). Amanda'seducational pursuits continued at Capilano University from 2017 to 2018 when they achieved a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication with a specialization in Graphic Design.
