Michael Kauffman

Executive Director, Clio Music & Clio Cannabis at Clio Awards

Michael Kauffman has a diverse range of work experience in the music and entertainment industry. Michael started their career at Windham Hill Records as a Regional Sales Manager before being promoted to National Director of Sales. Michael then moved to Universal Music Group as the Senior Vice-President of Sales and Catalog at The Verve Music Group. After that, they founded their own company called The HiFive Group, where they provided product strategy, sales, marketing, and brand partnership support for musicians and record companies. Michael later joined RightsFlow as the Senior Vice-President of Corporate Communications and Content, where they built PR and media plans for the startup. Michael then worked at Google as the Head of Corporate Communications for RightsFlow before transitioning to YouTube as a Product Marketing Manager. Most recently, they were the Executive Director at The Clio Awards, where they oversaw business development and program management for the music and cannabis verticals. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in marketing, communications, event activations, and audience development.

Michael Kauffman attended Temple University, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio, Television and Film. Michael also obtained additional certifications, including a Certificate of Appreciation from the Temple University Alumni Association in 2019 and a Wag! Dogwalker certification from Wag Labs Inc. in 2017.
