With over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, Bala has a reputation for shaping cutting-edge engineering developments. Bala was a member of America Online’s core team that launched AOL Instant Messenger. At Seachange, he helped build software that ran on a majority of cable systems, delivering over 50% of video on demand content to U.S. households. From writing code to managing research teams, as Principal Engineer – Data Solutions, Bala partners with other strategic owners to manage back-end systems at CRIO. Bala holds a BS in Physics from the University of Massachusetts. Off hours, he enjoys biking, kayaking and hiking with his labrador, Finley.
