Rick Hobbs is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in various counseling roles. Currently, Rick serves as Principal and LMFT at Blue Blazer Counseling since November 2018, while also working as an Integrated Behavioral Health Licensed Therapist at Clinica Sierra Vista since July 2010, where Rick provides psychotherapeutic care within a collaborative care model, addressing mild to moderate behavioral health issues and substance use disorders. Prior to these roles, Rick gained valuable experience as a Behavioral Health Therapist at Clinica Sierra Vista, a Social Worker II for Child Protective Services with the County of Kern, and held technical training positions in various corporations. Rick holds a Master of Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from California State University, Bakersfield, alongside earlier education in Computer Science from Bakersfield College.
