Isabel M. is a Historical Researcher at the U.S. Department of State, focusing on researching census records related to slaveholding among Department employees to enhance the understanding of the Department's role in slavery. Isabel holds multiple positions, including Incoming Associate and Summer Associate at Boston Consulting Group, and serves as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at UNC's Department of Computer Science. As Treasurer for UNC Women in National Security, Isabel manages a budget for initiatives supporting women in the national security field. Previous roles include historical research for Honors Carolina, Art & Wellness Intern at Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, and editorial positions with Jasūr Magazine and the Carolina International Relations Association. Isabel is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Peace, War & Defense and Data Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with plans to study International History at The London School of Economics.
