Andreas Aepli is currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Climeworks since 2021, a company focused on capturing and permanently removing CO2 from the atmosphere to facilitate a climate-positive future. Prior to Climeworks, Andreas held various positions at Bühler Group from 2008 to 2021, including Managing Director Insect Technology, where Andreas spearheaded innovative solutions for transforming organic residues using insect technology. Other roles at Bühler included Country Manager for Pakistan, where a Sales & Service organization was established, Regional CFO for the Middle East & Africa overseeing finance for 15 subsidiaries, Head of Finance & Commercial, and Group Internal Auditor responsible for international audits. Academically, Andreas holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD and a BA in Business Administration from the University of St.Gallen, along with an exchange semester in Management at National Taiwan University.
