Maryam A. began their education at Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from 2007 to 2011. Maryam then attended the University at Buffalo from 2012 to 2013, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Michigan, where they completed a Graduate Certificate in Industrial Ecology in the year 2015. Maryam A. continued their education at the University of Michigan and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Natural Resources Management and Policy in the period from 2013 to 2017.
