Oskar Fjellström began their career in 2002 as a Research Engineer at Umeå Institute of Design and Umeå University. In 2007, they joined Pado Metaware as a Software Engineer. In 2009, they worked at Nordic River Software as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented client software for a rich internet application (RIA) and contributed to a patent filed with the USPTO. In 2012, they joined Tieto as a Software Engineer and Assignment Responsible, contributing to the development of tools and systems for research engineers at Ericsson and assuming the role of Assignment Responsible for multiple assignments. In 2015, they worked at WEBCAP I SVERIGE AB as a System Developer, performing full-stack .NET system development, DevOps, Windows server maintenance, and project management. In 2018, they joined Map Launcher as a System Developer. Most recently, in 2019, they joined ClimateView as a System Developer, where they work on enabling cities to plan, visualize, and monitor the shifts necessary to reach their carbon abatement goals.
Oskar Fjellström attended Umeå University from 1993 to 2002 and obtained an MSc in Computer Engineering. Oskar also attended the University of Gothenburg from 1995 to 1996, studying Journalism. In March 2022, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
