Mick Liubinskas has a diverse range of work experience in the climate tech and sustainability fields. Mick currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Climate Salad, an active network that supports climate tech companies in Australia. Previously, Mick has held roles as an investor and advisor in various companies, including Phoenix Hydrogen, Alga Biosciences, Cecil, Terra.do, Spira Inc., Kapture, Ripe Robotics, AKUA PBC, and EnergyLab. In these roles, they have focused on investing in and supporting companies that are working towards carbon reduction, nature-based carbon projects, decarbonizing diesel generators, developing carbon-negative products, and sustainable food production. Mick's work experience showcases their commitment to addressing climate change and promoting environmental sustainability.
Mick Liubinskas obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Politics from the University of Newcastle. Mick later pursued executive training in High Tech Marketing and New Marketing Imperatives at AGSM @ UNSW Business School in 2004 and 2005, respectively. In 2013, they completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In 2019, they attended Stanford Continuing Studies to study Principles of Invention and received certifications in Product Management and Development Foundations, Technology for Product Managers, Metrics for Product Managers, Product Management: Building a Product Roadmap, and Product Management: Building a Product Strategy from LinkedIn in 2018. Currently, Mick Liubinskas is pursuing a Master's degree in Sustainable Development at Macquarie University, specializing in Sustainability Studies.
