Arshia Papari has a diverse work experience in various organizations. In 2023, they worked as a Legislative Aide at the Texas House of Representatives. Arshia also held multiple roles at the University Democrats, including Human Rights Caucus Chair, Gun Saftey Caucus Co-Chair, and Education Caucus Co-Chair. Arshia was a member of the University of Texas at Austin Senate of College Councils and served as a Crisis Staffer at the Central Texas Model United Nations. In 2022, they worked at Our Turn as a Senior Programs Fellow and previously held roles as a Programs Fellow, Organizing Fellow, and Summer Cadre Student Leader. Arshia also worked as a National Climate Fellow at Change the Chamber, Director of Political Affairs & Government Relations at Students for Campus Carry Choice, and Deputy Director of International Relations & Growth at Climate Cardinals. Additionally, they have served as a Youth Voices For Change Committee Member at the Prevention Institute and a Youth Advisory Board Member at the Center on Reinventing Public Education.
Arshia Papari completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Government (Liberal Arts Honors) (Pre-Law) from The University of Texas at Austin from 2023 to 2027. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma from The University of Texas at Austin from 2021 to 2023. Their secondary education took place at Allen High School from 2019 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, Arshia Papari obtained several certifications, including the Just The Beginning - A pipeline Organization ConnectED Certificate from Just The Beginning – A Pipeline Organization in 2023 and the Our Turn 2022-2023 Youth Power Fellowship Certification from Our Turn in 2023. They also hold certifications in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) from the American Heart Association obtained in 2021, as well as a Martial Arts Instructor Certification from Kovar Systems obtained in 2020.
