Lucia Zaupa is an experienced fundraising professional with a robust background in managing donor relationships and securing grants. Currently serving as Fundraising Manager at Climate Bonds Initiative since March 2024, Lucia oversees a portfolio of funders and coordinates proposal development across teams. Prior roles include Engagement Manager and Engagement Officer at Medair, where Lucia successfully managed Trusts and Foundations, wrote compelling proposals, and enhanced donor relations. With previous experience as a Trusts and Grants Fundraiser at Freedom from Torture, Fundraising Officer at Beanstalk, and various other fundraising positions, Lucia has developed expertise in strategic research, proposal writing, and compliance management. Lucia's educational background includes advanced degrees in Political Science and specialization in Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights from the University of Padova, complemented by additional fundraising training.
