Luis Garza has extensive experience in the field of metallurgy and materials engineering, currently serving as Section Manager for Metallic Coatings Research at Cleveland-Cliffs and as a Research Engineer at AK Steel, both positions held since May 2006. Prior to these roles, Luis worked as a Field Engineer at Pipetronix Ltd, specializing in pipeline inspections from January 1995 to March 2000. Luis holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering and a Master of Science (MS) in Metallurgical Engineering, both earned from Colorado School of Mines, along with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering Physics from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
