Sharis Pozen is a highly experienced legal professional with a distinguished career in antitrust and competition law. Currently serving as Managing Partner Americas and Co-Chair of the Global Antitrust Group at Clifford Chance since May 2019, Sharis previously held significant positions including Vice President of Global Competition Law and Policy at GE, Partner at Skadden, and Acting Assistant Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice. Sharis's expertise encompasses both government and private practice, having overseen major antitrust initiatives, conducted Congressional testimony, and managed complex investigations. Sharis also has an extensive background in advising a diverse clientele on competition and consumer protection issues, particularly in the healthcare and technology sectors, and has held leadership roles across various prestigious organizations. Educational qualifications include a JD from Washington University in St. Louis and a BA in History and Government from Connecticut College.
