Darren Moten began their work experience as a Design & Front-End Intern at Time Warner Cable from June 2004 to August 2006. Darren then moved on to Hallmark Cards, where they worked as a Multimedia Designer from October 2008 to April 2011. During this time, they were involved in various innovation projects, wire framing, and designing interfaces. In 2012, they co-founded Made by Bklyn and worked as a Co-Founder & Product Designer, creating websites, application interfaces, icons, and illustrations for clients. Currently, they are working as the Lead Product Designer at Clientela (HyphenLab) since January 2015.

Darren Moten obtained their Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Liberal Arts from Missouri Western State University, where they studied from 2002 to 2007.
