Simone van Bennekom is an experienced professional with a diverse background in program management, entrepreneurship, and cultural initiatives. Currently serving as the Programmamanager Internationalisering at CLICKNL, Simone leads the execution agenda for the internationalization program within the Topsector Creatieve Industrie, supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate. Additional roles include Directorship at Creatief Arnhem and ownership of The Soft Power Company, which focuses on fostering impactful entrepreneurship. Simone has also taken on project leadership at the Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, working on entrepreneurship and fair practice projects for students. Previous experience includes advisory and project management roles at Van Dooren Advies, cultural entrepreneurship with De Hollanders, and performing in the arts. Educational credentials encompass a postgraduate degree from HAN University of Applied Sciences and a master's in Economics & Entrepreneurship from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
