Max R. has extensive experience in the field of information security and technology operations. Their most recent role was as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) & Technology Operations at Clickatell, where they started in October 2022. Prior to that, they served as the CISO at Clickatell from January 2022 until October 2022. Before joining Clickatell, Max worked as the Director of Global Cyber Security at Cronos Group from January 2021 to January 2022. From May 2018 to January 2021, they held the position of Head of Information Security at Grant Thornton LLP (Canada). Max also has experience as the VP of IT Infrastructure and Information Security at CISNET from September 2013 to May 2018. Prior to that, they worked in various senior IT positions at different companies from October 2003 to August 2013. Max started their career as a Senior Network Security Engineer at Future Shop from November 2001 to October 2003.

Max R. holds a Master of Science degree in Cyber Security from the University of Liverpool. Additionally, Max has obtained several certifications, including CCNA Security and CCNP R&S from Cisco, Certified In Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2, and PMP from the Project Management Institute.
