Alissa Blumberg has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical research. Alissa began their career as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, where they led weekly meetings and supervised students' independent research inquiries. Alissa then worked as a Student Researcher and Peer Research Mentor, where they trained students in lab techniques and conducted molecular biology experiments.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Alissa joined PPD as a Clinical Research Coordinator, where they conducted Phase 1 clinical trials and managed study supplies. Alissa also served as a Clinical Data Associate, entering study data accurately and resolving findings with CRAs.

Alissa then worked at INC Research as a Project Specialist II, supporting the project manager and study team in a global Phase III Fibromyalgia program. Alissa distributed newsletters, communicated with study sites, and assisted in data cleaning efforts. Alissa later joined Syneos Health as a Clinical Research Associate I/II, specializing in Phase III Ophthalmology trials for Retinal Vein Occlusion and Neovascular AMD. Alissa performed site initiation visits, monitoring visits, and remote site management activities.

In 2021, Alissa worked at Parexel as a Senior Clinical Research Associate, conducting clinical research activities for various projects. Alissa then moved to Click Therapeutics, Inc. in the same role.

Alissa Blumberg earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology with a specialization in Neurobiology from The University of Texas at Austin. Alissa attended the university from 2008 to 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, Alissa obtained the Mental Health First Aid USA certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in July 2022.
