Sean Clifford has extensive work experience in the software development field. Sean started their career in 2002 at MegaGroup Ltd as a Software Developer, where they worked on developing an online exam application and a CMS. Sean then moved on to Northern Arch in 2003, where they developed a leasing management system and gained international experience as a software developer and on-site technical consultant in the UK.

In 2011, Sean joined SunGard as a Software Engineer before moving to Alchemy in 2012 as a Software Developer. In 2013, they became self-employed as an Entrepreneur for a brief period. Later that year, they joined the Diligent Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer and served as the Development Team Lead from 2017 to 2018.

From 2018 to 2022, Sean worked at MYOB as a Senior Software Developer, focusing on the development and maintenance of MYOB PayGlobal, an enterprise-level payroll system. Sean'sresponsibilities included designing and deploying production infrastructure on AWS, developing a single-sign-on client, and interfacing with government APIs.

In 2022, Sean joined Ryman Healthcare on a short-term contract as a Senior Software Engineer, working on the myRyman Care application. Sean used C# .NET, React, TypeScript, Azure, and various APIs for this project. Currently, Sean holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Clever First Aid, where they contribute their expertise to the QSR and food industries.

Sean Clifford attended the University of Canterbury from 2000 to 2002, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science.
