Lauren Generette has a robust career in music education and program management, currently serving as the Director of Instrumental Pathways Programs and Youth Orchestra Manager at The Cleveland Orchestra since September 2014. With previous experience as a Principal at Lauren Generette Management from October 1996 to January 2022, as well as Program Manager for El Sistema@University Circle from August 2013 to June 2014, Lauren has contributed significantly to youth music initiatives. Lauren also held roles at The Cleveland Orchestra from June 1986 to January 1996, including Youth Orchestra Manager and Assistant Director of Educational Activities, and started as an Instrumental Music Teacher with Atlanta Public Schools from August 1977 to June 1984. Lauren holds a Master of Business Administration in Arts Administration from Binghamton University and a Bachelor of Music Education from Howard University.
