Trey Platt is an experienced sports professional currently serving as the Director of Pro Player Personnel and Pro Scout for the Cleveland Cavaliers since September 2017. Prior to this role, Trey held multiple positions with the LA Clippers from September 2013 to August 2017, including Head Video Coordinator, responsible for managing all film for the coaching staff and players, and Assistant Video Coordinator, where duties included video scouting for game preparations. Trey began their career as Head Video Coordinator for the Bakersfield Jam, pioneering live logging using Synergy Sports Technology. Previous experience also includes leadership roles in video analysis for UTSA Men's Basketball and support staff duties with USA Basketball. Trey holds a Master of Science in Health and Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Additionally, Trey served as a Project Manager for Marcava Corporation, overseeing operations for a large residential development.
