Swagato Acharjee currently holds positions in electronic trading at Clearpool Group and BMO Capital Markets since 2023. Previously, Swagato served as Director of Algorithmic Trading at Citi from 2020 to 2023, optimizing trading performance and providing quantitative execution consulting for major hedge funds and asset managers. Prior roles include Quantitative Strategist at RBC Capital Markets (2017-2020), Quantitative Researcher and Portfolio Manager at Walleye Capital (2015-2017), and Quantitative Trader/Portfolio Manager at Natixis North America (2011-2014). Swagato's career began at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (2007-2011) and Citigroup (2006-2007), focusing on algorithm development and quantitative strategies. Swagato holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering (Computational Mathematics) from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
