Ron Cole is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software development and IT operations spanning several decades. Currently serving as Support Operations Manager at ClearPoint since April 2013, Ron has implemented an ITIL-based support model tailored to client needs. Prior roles include Software Development Manager and Director of IT Operations at NEC Corporation of America, where oversight included teams supporting public safety software and semiconductors. Ron's career began at Platt Music Corporation as a Software Developer, progressing through various leadership roles in healthcare and state government, including Managing IT for the California State Assembly. Ron holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology from The University of Auckland and a Certificate in Computer Studies from Auckland Technical Institute.
