Amanda Coleman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Amanda began their career at Disneyland Resort in 1997, working in attractions until 2000. Amanda then worked at Herald and News from 2003 to 2006, where they prepared photos for print processing and designed special section covers. After that, they joined Standard-Examiner in 2007 and took on roles as a Web Designer and later as a Graphic Designer, working on brand development, UX design, UI design, and special event design. In 2012, they started working at Clearlink as a Senior Web Designer and moved up to roles including Art Director and Creative Director, focusing on designing affiliate direct-response sites and creating unique brand experiences. In 2022, they joined U.S. News & World Report as the Director of User Experience Design.
Amanda Coleman attended California State University-Sacramento from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography and Design. In addition, they have earned several certifications. In 2018, they obtained a UX Certificate from Nielsen Norman Group, and in 2019, they became a UX Master Certified from the same institution. Most recently, in October 2022, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance and Ag.
