Lara started their career as a Shipping Receiving employee at The Knitting Zone, where they managed quality assurance and trained the shipping department. Lara also worked as an Independent Contract Delivery Driver for FedEx Ground, where they successfully delivered and picked up over 100 stops per day while establishing and maintaining customer relationships.

Lara then transitioned into the tech industry, joining The Software Guild as an Apprentice. In this role, they gained valuable experience in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and SQL Server, participating in full stack development in an Agile team environment. Lara later interned at Blue Cross Blue Shield Louisiana as a BET QA Testing Intern, executing regression testing and reconciling defects using automation tools.

At Netchex, Lara held multiple positions, starting as a Software Engineer I, contributing to the rewriting of the Netchex web application using technologies such as C#, DotNet, React, and SQL Server. Lara then advanced to become a Lead Software Quality Assurance Analyst, leading QA efforts for multiple rewrite teams and implementing various testing strategies.

Lara further expanded their QA expertise at ActivTrak as a Senior QA Engineer, where they utilized tools like MySQL, GCP, Jira, and Postman to ensure the quality of the workforce analytics platform.

Lara'smost recent position was at Trility Consulting as an Integration Engineer, where they leveraged their skills to integrate systems and optimize processes.

Currently, Lara is a QA Engineer II at ClearCompany Talent Management Software, utilizing their experience and expertise in quality assurance to support the development of talent management software.
