Ahana Banerjee's work experience starts in 2019 with a spring internship at Nomura, where they worked in the Tech + Media + Telecoms (TMT) team in the Investment Banking division. Ahana secured a return offer for the following year. In the same year, they also worked as a Technology Summer Analyst at Morgan Stanley, where they built a full-stack project and took it through deployment. Ahana also served as a Campus Ambassador for Morgan Stanley and participated in their Spring Insight week.

Ahana Banerjee completed their high school education at The Catholic High School in Chester from 2010 to 2013. Ahana then attended The American Embassy School in New Delhi from 2013 to 2015 for their high school studies. Ahana went on to pursue an International Baccalaureate Diploma at UWC South East Asia from 2015 to 2017, with a focus on HL Maths, HL Physics, HL English Literature, SL French, SL Chemistry, SL ESS, and a Physics Extended Essay.
After completing their diploma, Ahana enrolled at Imperial College London in 2017 to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics. Ahana successfully completed their degree program in 2021.
