Key Responsibilities

• Provide general desktop support across multiple locations.
• Log and manage onsite IT assets to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Assist with the installation, cable management, and reorganization of office and security workstations, as well as mining site expansions and move-ins.
• Provide onboarding and offboarding support for employees, including setup and decommissioning of workstations and access management.
• Perform routine maintenance on computer hardware and devices.
• Offer remote troubleshooting and support for IT-related issues, covering Office 365, Windows desktops, Macs, smartphones, and network printers.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technologies, Technical Education, or related field preferred.
• Experience: 5 years of experience minimum, hands-on desktop and office support preferred.
• Skills: Self-motivated and reliable with the ability to work independently; basic computer/network proficiency; time/project management; ability to communicate with diverse groups of people; ability to handle power tools; basic understanding of electronics and electricity.
• Physical Requirements: Able to lift 50-75 lbs. regularly.
• Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel frequently between sites; valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required. Mileage will be reimbursed. Must be willing to occasionally travel by plane to remote sites.

Certifications (preferred)

• Basic Networking Certification (e.g., Cisco Certified Technician – CCT or equivalent)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-102)
• ITIL 4 Foundation
