Christiaan Zuur is an experienced professional in the renewable energy and public policy sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Market, Grid and Investment at the Clean Energy Council since June 2021, Christiaan provides regulatory, economic, and technical advisory services. Previously, Christiaan held various roles at the Australian Energy Market Commission from 2007 to 2021, including Director, where the focus was on transitioning the power system to a high renewables mix through complex policy projects. Earlier roles included positions at Westminster City Council and the Office of Senator Aden Ridgeway, where Christiaan gained foundational skills in stakeholder management and public communication. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Economics from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Media from Macquarie University.
