Scott Grønnegaard Allison has a diverse and extensive work experience in various organizations and industries. In 2016, they joined CLEAN as the Chief Project Manager and Head of International, where they led the Copenhagen team in implementing national and international innovation projects in the environmental sector. Scott also worked as a Senior Project Manager at CLEAN, focusing on sustainable urban solutions and collaborating with C40 Cities to develop and implement climate solutions in cities worldwide. Additionally, they managed CLEAN's Nordic activities and partnerships to support cleantech innovation and drive business development.
In 2022, Scott became the Innovation Challenge Lead at the International Cleantech Network, where they supported innovation initiatives. Scott also served as a Board Member at Omstilling Nu from 2017 to 2019, supporting the organization's activities in giving young people a voice in the transition to a sustainable future.
Scott's early work experience includes an internship and student assistant role at CONCITO, where they analyzed emission trading markets and proposed recommendations for the EU ETS. Scott also worked as an editor at the Virtual Reality Medical Institute, developing communication materials and co-organizing conferences. Scott started their career as a research assistant at Erasmus University Rotterdam and worked as a passenger service assistant and boatman at Euroglobe AB / Seaside Service AB, providing services to cruise ships. Scott also served as a project analyst at Hutchinson Port Holdings and as an urban development researcher at Ports of Stockholm.
Scott Grønnegaard Allison completed a Master's Degree in Sustainable Cities from Aalborg University in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Geography from The University of Sheffield from 2006 to 2009.
