Bernie Zang has extensive work experience in various roles and industries.

Bernie currently serves as the Engineering Lead at ClassDojo, where they focus on bringing education communities together and has contributed to its growth and success.

Prior to ClassDojo, Bernie founded Zangworks, where they incubated startups in the real estate and collectibles space. Bernie provided guidance on software development best practices, product design, and scaling teams.

Bernie also worked as an Advisor at CareValidate, where they advised the leadership team on product management best practices, built product roadmaps, and implemented development processes to improve visibility and productivity.

Bernie has held important positions at notable companies such as Airbnb, Urbandoor, Cisco, Haystack Informatics, 50onRed, and Phoenix Contact USA. In these roles, they demonstrated their expertise in product management, software engineering, and team leadership. Bernie led the development of various products, collaborated with design and engineering teams, and implemented agile methodologies to improve productivity and deliver high-quality results.

Bernie Zang obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University from the years 2001 to 2005. Later, from 2006 to 2008, Bernie pursued a Master's Degree in Information Sciences and Technology from the same university.
