Amanda Johnson is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in founding and managing charter schools. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Clarksdale Collegiate Public Charter School, Amanda Johnson is dedicated to preparing scholars in the Mississippi Delta for high school and college through rigorous instruction in a supportive community. Previous roles include Fellow at Building Excellent Schools, Director of Curriculum and Instruction at KIPP Delta Public Schools, and Program Manager of the Fisher Fellowship at KIPP Foundation, alongside significant contributions as Founder and School Director of KIPP Delta’s first elementary school. Amanda Johnson began a teaching career in the Lee County School District and as a Corps Member with Teach For America, after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Rhodes College.
