Sundarraj Rajaraman has extensive experience in the pest control and environmental science industries. Sundarraj started their career as a sales executive at Pest Control India (Pvt) Ltd in 1994 and worked their way up to become the branch manager, overseeing business operations in multiple districts. During this time, they were also appointed as an advisor to PCS in Thailand and Malaysia.
In 2007, they became the business head for the joint venture company Alpha Pest Management Ltd in Mauritius. Sundarraj was responsible for ensuring smooth operations and liaising with government officials for pesticide registration.
From 2012 to 2017, Sundarraj served as a senior manager of overseas business at Pest Control India (Pvt) Ltd, handling the company's operations in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Sundarraj focused on service, product sales, auditing, and training for various pest management professionals and establishments.
In 2018, they joined UPL as the head of Vector Control for India and Southeast Asia, where they collaborated with regulatory teams for pesticide registration and facilitated the product roll-out in over 20 countries.
Sundarraj's next role was as the head of the South India Environmental Science Division at Bayer Crop Science from 2020 to 2022. Sundarraj achieved significant business growth through field marketing initiatives and product positioning activities.
Currently, they work as the Regional Head for South and Southeast Asia at Clarke, where they are responsible for increasing awareness of sustainable technologies in public health and supporting stakeholders with technology and operational aspects.
Throughout their career, Sundarraj has consistently demonstrated leadership and a deep understanding of the industry, contributing to the growth and success of the companies they have worked for.
Sundarraj Rajaraman received their B.Sc. degree in Botany from St. Joseph's College in Trichy from 1989 to 1992.
