Meredith Shin is a Senior IP Analyst at Clarivate since January 2023, bringing extensive experience in patent analysis from previous roles at Global Patent Solutions LLC and Koch Companies Public Sector, LLC. Throughout a career that began as a Patent Examiner at the USPTO, Meredith has conducted comprehensive evaluations of invention disclosures and patent applications, focusing on patentability, freedom-to-operate, and validity/infringement. This includes analyzing mechanical and biomechanical technologies, leveraging various patent databases, and assessing correspondence with patent offices. Meredith holds an MS in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University.
