Nicholas Watson has over 20 years of professional experience in software engineering, data management, and software development. From 2019 to present, they have served as Principal Software Engineer at Clarity Business Solutions, Inc. From 2014 to 2019, they were Vice President of Technology at Gleason Technology, where they helped clients limit operational risk through technology. Nicholas was also Software Architect at Virtual OfficeWare from 2014 to 2019, responsible for moving legacy client based applications to cloud based solutions. From 2011 to 2014, they were Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Entropi Software LLC, where they focused on crafting web and mobile applications. From 2001 to 2011, they were Director of Data Management and Manager of Software Engineering at Concurrent Technologies Corporation, where they managed database administrators, database engineers, semantic specialists and data scientists, as well as software engineers focused on building next generation web applications. From 1998 to 2001, they were a Software Developer and Assistant Network Administrator at Earth Sciences Consultants Inc, providing technical support to 125 client workstations, and developing internal applications.

Nicholas Watson obtained a BS in Computer Science from Waynesburg University between 1997 and 2001. Nicholas then attended Robert Morris University from 2003 to 2006, where they earned an M.S. in Engineering Management. Prior to that, they attended Penn Trafford High School from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, they hold a MongoDB Professional Services: Certified Partner, Consulting Engineer certification from MongoDB.
